Burnout & Recovery is part of "Leveling Up". Acknowledge it. Keep calm. And, carry on.
3 steps I take to Heal n' Go:
1. I admit it: ❛My name is May. I'm "burning out" (temporarily) and I am taking steps to "recover" (fully).❜
Note: This is hard for me. As a workaholic, I am getting better at it.
2. I tell someone I trust: BFF, BCF, DH, close friend, sister, brother, coach, colleague, boss, doctor etc.
Note: Also hard, but I do feel better. These relationships are golden.
3. I am gentle on myself. I say 'No' if it's harmful or 'Yes' if it's HEALTHY.
No to: ☒work emails after hours; ☒unhealthy activities; ☒negative influences...
Yes to: ☑︎nature & 10k steps; ☑︎creative activities; ☑︎inspirational social connections...
Burnout & Recovery is challenging. It's a process. It takes commitment, patience, and faith.
