BRAIN POWER | My 3 TIPS
Hi Student - Hope you're well.
On my lifelong learning journey I have been a terrible student and an excellent student. I have also been an incompetent teacher and a great one. Wherever you are on your life path you can decide to start feeling good about your choices.
For one course I had to take, I decided to maximize my brain power to do as well as I could. So, I became my own guinea pig, experimenting with my brain.
3 tips I learned for peak brain performance:
1. Give up coffee & alcohol.
I love both. This was hard but I listened to the brain experts. I experienced heightened awareness. Brighter colours. Clearer thoughts. Peak performance.
2. Get support.
I had a very close team I could contact whenever I was struggling–which was daily, all day long. They encouraged me, prayed for me, and believed in me when I was a wreck.
3. Schedule each task with an appropriate break. I'm serious. Breaks are like fuel. When you complete a task your tank gets empty. You need to refuel. I was dubious initially. Not taking a break caused me to have a 72-hour set back. My brain power was depleted. Breaks are a game changer.
Do your brain research. Be your own science lab. You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish.
